Clear storm damage from Rowena's garden in Peoria
Garden rescue day in Peoria: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 Peoria, Illinois, United States1,722 views
I'm 77 and I have lived in this house in Peoria for 26 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

You're not alone. Wishing Rowena a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Rooting for you, Rowena. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Peoria.
