Clear storm damage from Ronke's garden in Lagos
Ronke, 73, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in Lagos for 47 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Praying for you, Ronke. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Love from Iztapalapa.
