Clear storm damage from Nolan's garden in Vancouver
Nolan, 91, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in Vancouver for 44 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Hope this works out for you. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Vancouver
Praying for you, Nolan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 22 people at work
