I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in Lagos for 26 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement. The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
