Clear storm damage from Modupe's garden in Epe
Garden rescue day in Epe: bring gloves and a rake.
π³π¬ Epe, Lagos, Nigeria465 views
I'm 85 and I have lived in this house in Epe for 34 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
