Clear storm damage from Margaret's garden in Kasarani
Garden rescue day in Kasarani: bring gloves and a rake.
🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya1,093 views
I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Kasarani for 40 years. After the storm in April, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

- 3–5 hours

Hope you get there. Thinking of Kasarani.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 13 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best!
Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Stay strong. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Iztapalapa.
Wishing you the best, Margaret. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Frankfurt this morning. All the best.
Keep going, Margaret. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
