Clear storm damage from Lauren's garden in London
Lauren, 83, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in London for 39 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you, Lauren. Hope the doctors have good news. After 29 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Scranton.
Hope things get better soon, Lauren. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
Sending love, Lauren. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
