Clear storm damage from Kennedy's garden in San Diego

Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Kennedy's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in San Diego for 33 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement. The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care

So sorry you're going through this, Kennedy. Wishing Kennedy a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
