Clear storm damage from Keith's garden in Bakersfield
Garden rescue day in Bakersfield: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 78 and I have lived in this house in Bakersfield for 49 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Hang in there, Keith. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
Wishing Keith a smooth procedure and a full recovery. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Keith. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out
I hope things turn around soon. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home!
Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Shubra.
