Clear storm damage from Kanchana's garden in Jaffna
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Kanchana's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Jaffna for 33 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hang in there, Kanchana. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Jaffna
Sending love. Hope the doctors have good news. My neighbor in Verona donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
Keep going. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. All the best!
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Birmingham this morning. All the best.
Praying for you. Your post was clear and honest. After 29 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Syracuse
