Clear storm damage from Joaquín's garden in Medellín
Joaquín, 80, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 80 and I have lived in this house in Medellín for 30 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you, Joaquín. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
hope it all works out, Joaquín. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care.
Get well soon. We're a small family in Depok but we're thinking of you.
Sending love. Hope you get there. Love from Suwon.
