Clear storm damage from Isaiah's garden in Gold Coast
Garden rescue day in Gold Coast: bring gloves and a rake.
🇦🇺 Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia1,200 views
I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in Gold Coast for 29 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.
