Clear storm damage from Inés's garden in Tuxtla Gutiérrez
Garden rescue day in Tuxtla Gutiérrez: bring gloves and a rake.
🇲🇽 Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico694 views
I'm 78 and I have lived in this house in Tuxtla Gutiérrez for 46 years. After the storm in November, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Keep going, Inés. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.
