Clear storm damage from Ikenna's garden in Kano
Ikenna, 91, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in Kano for 49 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Toronto
Hope it all works out. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Wishing you the best, Ikenna. Wishing Ikenna a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless
