Clear storm damage from Ife's garden in Ibadan
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Ife's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 89 and I have lived in this house in Ibadan for 24 years. After the storm in October, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Thinking of Ibadan.
Rooting for you, Ife. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Southampton.
