Clear storm damage from Hadley's garden in Manchester
Hadley, 82, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Manchester for 43 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending love, Hadley. This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 25 people at work. Take care.
Wishing you the best, Hadley. Hope this works out for you. After 27 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Shared this with my family. Love from Birmingham!
