Clear storm damage from Fatima's garden in Ikeja
Fatima, 88, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in Ikeja for 22 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 22 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Piraeus.
