Clear storm damage from Emilia's garden in Leeds
Garden rescue day in Leeds: bring gloves and a rake.
🇬🇧 LS16 2UY, Leeds, England, United Kingdom583 views
I'm 86 and I have lived in this house in Leeds for 41 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 3–5 hours

Rooting for you. Wishing Emilia a smooth procedure and a full recovery. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Emilia. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Hang in there, Emilia. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Novosibirsk.
