Clear storm damage from Elmarie's garden in Gqeberha
Elmarie, 71, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Gqeberha for 22 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Stay strong, Elmarie. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side.
Wishing you peace. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Paarl!
Praying for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't give up. Thinking of Gqeberha.
