Clear storm damage from Eli's garden in Houston
Garden rescue day in Houston: bring gloves and a rake.
๐บ๐ธ Houston, Texas, United States1,592 views
I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Houston for 30 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Sending strength, Eli. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care!
