Clear storm damage from Elena's garden in Brooklyn
Garden rescue day in Brooklyn: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States522 views
I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Brooklyn for 30 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Mumbai but we're thinking of you. Love from Mumbai.
Take care, Elena. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours.
Stay strong, Elena. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
thinking of you and your family, Elena. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. All the best
Take care, Elena. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Hope things get better soon, Elena. Wishing Elena a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My husband and I read this together. Love from Mombasa.
