Clear storm damage from Charles's garden in Augusta
Garden rescue day in Augusta: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 30958, Augusta, Georgia, United States652 views
I'm 79 and I have lived in this house in Augusta for 46 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.
