I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Dhaka for 32 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight. The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Cần Thơ this morning. All the best.

    • stay strong, Bithi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Campinas

      • Stay strong. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Dhaka.

        • Hang in there. Hope the doctors have good news. Put this on a community board in Quezon City this morning. God bless.

          • Good luck. Hope the doctors have good news. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Mandaue
