Clear storm damage from Asher's garden in Laredo
Asher, 84, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Laredo for 28 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending good thoughts, Asher. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care.
Rooting for you, Asher. It takes guts to ask. Well done
It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Newcastle upon Tyne.
