Clear storm damage from Amaka's garden in Kano
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Amaka's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Kano for 34 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

Take care, Amaka. I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
Thinking of you and your family, Amaka. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 24 people at work. God bless.
hope it all works out. Wishing Amaka a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Wish I lived closer to Leeds so I could bring a meal. God bless.
