Christopher needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
A weekly call with someone who has been through it - that's the whole ask.

I'm ninety days into recovery from opioid addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

so sorry you're going through this, Christopher. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest
Thinking of you, Christopher. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Sent it to 38 people at work.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from London
Thanks for sharing this, Christopher. Shared this with my family. Take care
rooting for you. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Praying for you. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless
Hang in there, Christopher. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Blessings
