Christian is applying to university - who can guide us?
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Christian's essays until November.

I'm Christian, 19, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study economics.
I have a top-of-class average, I volunteer at the local library and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until November. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Glad we found this place.

wishing you the best, Christian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Blessings!
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
Hang in there. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Birmingham.
Praying for you. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Hồ Chí Minh City.
Rooting for you, Christian. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Christian. Your post was clear and honest. God bless.
