Chidinma is applying to university - who can guide us?

I'm Chidinma, 16, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study public health.
I have a 3.9 average, I volunteer at a food pantry and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until October. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

keep going, Chidinma. Shared this with my family. After 19 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Patna donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Bonny.
Take care. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.

Best of luck, Chidinma. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Bonny.
