My daughter, Tiffany, is 17 and in the final year of school. Tiffany loves school but chemistry has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The board exam is in March. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Leeds or online, for about sixteen weeks. Tiffany is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in chemistry, you could change the course of Tiffany's year. Thank you so much.

  • Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.

    • Hope it all works out, Isaac. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours.

      • stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
