My daughter, Damilola, is 13 and in Grade 11. Damilola loves school but chemistry has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The GCSE exam is in October. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Ikeja or online, for about sixteen weeks. Damilola is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in chemistry, you could change the course of Damilola's year. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Thinking of you, Godwin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.

Thinking of you and your family, Godwin. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Love from Liverpool!

hope things get better soon. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Atlanta
