I'm eight weeks into recovery from stimulant addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. Glad we found this place.

  • You're not alone, Charlotte. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Take care.

Rooting for you. Hope you get there. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

      • Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Nizamabad.

        • Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Cape Town donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Cape Town!
