Cesar can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Caloocan.
šµš Metro Manila, Philippines403 views
Cesar has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Cesar can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Cesar's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thank you so much.

wishing Cesar a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Take care, Hazel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Scranton donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
Stay strong, Hazel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
