Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Samuel
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Lagos.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria1,005 views
Samuel has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Samuel can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Samuel's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you, Chinedu. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
