Ronke has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Ronke can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Ronke's family will cook lunch for the team. Thank you so much.

  • Sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope November is when things finally get easier.

    • rooting for you, Rotimi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 7 years in construction I know how hard it is to ask for anything.

      • Take care, Rotimi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Kinondoni.

        • Stay strong. Wishing Ronke a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Mumbai.
