Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Pedro
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Campinas.
🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil642 views
Pedro has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Pedro can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Pedro's family will cook lunch for the team.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Keep going, Wagner. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Love from Berlin.
Best of luck, Wagner. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
