Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Nusrat
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Narayanganj.

Nusrat has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Nusrat can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Nusrat's family will cook lunch for the team.

Sending good thoughts, Tanvir. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

Sending good thoughts, Tanvir. Hope the doctors have good news. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.

Thinking of you, Tanvir. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Hang in there, Tanvir. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless!
