Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Kim
Help Kim regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇻🇳 Hanoi, Vietnam814 views
Kim has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Kim can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Kim's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out, Huy. Hope the doctors have good news. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care
