Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Karan
Help Karan regain independence: a simple ramp build.
๐ฎ๐ณ Hubballi, Karnataka, India825 views
Karan has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Karan can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Karan's family will cook lunch for the team.

Sending love, Aditi. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Mumbai
So sorry you're going through this, Aditi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
Best of luck. Wishing Karan a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
