Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Julian
Help Julian regain independence: a simple ramp build.
πΊπΈ Nashville, Tennessee, United States1,538 views
Julian has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Julian can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Julian's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope it all works out. Hope the doctors have good news. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
good luck, Noah. Hope the doctors have good news.
Hang in there. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Campinas
Wishing you peace, Noah. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
