Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for José
José uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

José has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment José can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and José's family will cook lunch for the team.
I hope life is good to you.

Keep going, Patricia. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to São Paulo so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Patricia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless!
Thinking of you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
