Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Jorge
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Santarém.

Jorge has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Jorge can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Jorge's family will cook lunch for the team.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

it takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings!
