Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Januka

Januka has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Januka can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Januka's family will cook lunch for the team. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
