Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Galih
Help Galih regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇮🇩 Bali, Indonesia1,513 views
Galih has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Galih can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Galih's family will cook lunch for the team.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from San Sebastián
Sending love, Fitri. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Praying for you, Fitri. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Makati.

You're not alone. Wishing Galih a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
