Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Gabriele
Gabriele uses a wheelchair and cannot leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.
🇩🇪 Hesse, Germany888 views
Gabriele has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Gabriele can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Gabriele's family will cook lunch for the team.
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you peace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best
wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Best of luck. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best
