Dustin has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Dustin can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Dustin's family will cook lunch for the team. Thank you for reading my story.

  • You're not alone. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care

    • Good luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.
