Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Crystal
Help Crystal regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇺🇸 Tampa, Florida, United States1,477 views
Crystal has used a wheelchair since 2021, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Crystal can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Crystal's family will cook lunch for the team.

Wishing you the best. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 30 people at work
Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Monterrey.
