Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Collins
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Dar es Salaam.

Collins has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Collins can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Collins's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Stay strong, Victor. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Nha Trang donated after I showed her your page. God bless
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Keep going. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Aurangabad.
wishing you peace, Victor. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
