Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Anil
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Nagpur.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India1,207 views
Anil has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Anil can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Anil's family will cook lunch for the team.

Keep going, Anita. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Stay strong, Anita. Your post was clear and honest. Don't give up.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Wish I lived closer to Paris so I could bring a meal.
