I'm four months into recovery from gambling addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • stay strong. Wishing Carol a smooth procedure and a full recovery. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

    • Hope it all works out, Carol. Hope the doctors have good news. God bless.

      • sending good thoughts. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care

        • I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
