Care for Sabbir, 75: help cover a carer and medication in Dhaka
Sabbir, 75, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $700 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 75. After a diagnosis of dementia Sabbir can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sabbir desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Sabbir worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $700 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $560
• Medication and prescriptions: $65
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $25
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $50
